The Pharmacy at NeuroSpine:
The Pharmacy at NeuroSpine Institute offers greater convenience and eliminates any out-of-pocket expense associated with filling prescriptions at outside pharmacies.
Our on-campus pharmacy improves therapy compliance by immediate initiation of treatment ensuring the patient’s first prescription is filled.
Durable Medical Equipment (DME)
Durable Medical Equipment (DME) is medical equipment prescribed by a physician that can be used by patients in the home to aid in a better quality of living.
The NeuroSpine Institute works with high-quality and innovative DME providers that offer products such as electrotherapy, spinal bracing, and spinal stimulators. The medical team at NSI can prescribe these items on-site leading to better patient compliance and improving outcomes.
NSI offers patients a comprehensive line of electrotherapy solutions to relieve both acute and chronic pain and improve muscle function. These products can be used by the patient in the comfort of their home to suppress the sensation of pain.
The team at NSI offers our post-surgical patients spinal bracing. Bracing can provide patients immediate pain relief while allowing for a significant degree of functional mobility with comfortable support. In many cases, bracing allows patients to return to routine daily activities.
Patients will be fitted at our office and will be able to leave their appointment with their brace the same day.
Spinal Cord Stimulators:
A spinal cord stimulator (SCS) is a device used to exert pulsed electrical signals to the spinal cord to control chronic pain. A benefit to neurostimulation is that the patient can go through a trial period to have the opportunity to access whether the SCS provides pain relief. Once determined the therapy is right for the patient, the system is surgically implanted by one of our physicians on an outpatient basis. In time, patients should be able to perform normal daily activities with less pain.
